Our Roots and Evolution

Division Biomanufacturing began in 2025 as a strategic offshoot of Imperial Yeast. Since 2014, Imperial Yeast has been a highly respected name in the brewing industry, known for supplying more than 1,000 commercial customers with a catalog of more than 50 in-stock cultures. While our sister company focuses on brewers, winemakers, and distillers, Division Biomanufacturing was created to bring that same decade-plus of technical expertise to the biotech-based ingredients sector.
